    Adina is a PhD student in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) working on modeling and design of nano photo-electric devices. Originally from Israel, she loves cooking, doing outdoors things, meeting new people and painting. Adina is excited to be involved in creating a warm and inclusive Jewish community on campus.  

  • Mashgiach and Shabbat Coordinator

    Akiva is a third-year student in the Anderson Lab in Chemical Engineering, working on new methods of delivering mRNA vaccines. He is very excited to finally fulfill his role as mashgiach at in person events this year. In his free time, Akiva enjoys juggling, swing dancing and boardgames.

    Zach is in the Building Technology PhD program. His research focuses on helping communities around the world meet their greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals through energy efficiency, heat electrification, and renewable energy. Originally from Connecticut, he loves sailing, skiing, and baking.

    Cody is a Ph.D. student in Aeronautics and Astronautics working on enabling a permanent human presence on the Moon. She is originally from Canada and moved to Cambridge with her dog Maverick when she started at MIT. She loves to go hiking and camping with Mav, plays guitar and also has her private pilot license.
