  • President

Will is your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Originally from New York, he participates in MCM, the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse. By day he’s a PhD student in Networks and Mobile Systems—something of a scientist himself—and by night he reads, runs, cooks, and plays piano.

  • Shabbat co-Chair

Hailing from the capital of Tango, Steak and Football, Andy is currently a PhD student at MIT AeroAstro trying to make aviation more sustainable. Outside of research, he enjoys playing tennis and squash, biking, and playing his beloved euphonium at the concert band. Andy is looking forward to working with GradHillel to continue building a fun Jewish community on campus!

  • Treasurer

In addition to being a social scientist, Jason is also a social, scientist. A PhD student in system dynamics at the Sloan School of Management, Jason studies how organizations improvise in response to irregular operating circumstances. He enjoys being Jewish, eating matzah year-round, and taking frequent coffee breaks. He is very excited to be part of the Jewish graduate community at MIT.
  • Programming Chair

Jenna is a third-year PhD student in the chemical engineering department. Her research focuses on developing algorithms that combine machine learning, cheminformatics, and optimization to accelerate molecular discovery. She grew up in Allentown, PA, and in her free time enjoys playing board games, taking care of her plants, and baking (and eating) challah.

  • Shabbat Co-Chair

Seiji is a PhD student in EECS studying theory and algorithms of decision-making for robot autonomy. When winter hits, he runs back home to Los Angeles to dodge the cold. In his free time, he loves to run, go on bike tours, and fold origami. Seiji is excited to help shape GradHillel's Shabbat experience for MIT's Jewish community.

  • Programming Chair

Hugh is a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering working on sodium-ion batteries. He is originally from Albany, NY. Hugh likes to watch sports, especially soccer, and is involved in intramural sports at MIT. He is looking forward to bringing the Jewish community together through engaging programs.

  • Programming Chair

Arielle is a PhD student in Biology studying how bacteria protect themselves against viruses. Originally from Washington, D.C., she loves baking, reading, and jogging around Cambridge. She is excited to help plan fun events for the MIT GradHillel community!
