Travel with old and new friends across Israel, Israelis the whole time, learning, hiking, & giving back. Our trip provider, Tailor Made, provides an amazing introduction to both the land and the people in Israel! It's a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Israel with other MIT students, and to make new Israeli friends who share the excitement and complexities of their country with you.

Highlights include:

  • Explore the Old City of Jerusalem
  • Hike through the Galilee region
  • Wander the streets of Tel Aviv
  • Float in the Dead Sea
  • Scale the heights of Masada and watch the sunrise
  • Spend a night under the stars
  • A 10-day mifgash (encounter) with Israelis your own age, making sure your experience is amazing and authentic.
  • Learn about Israel and explore your Jewish identity

If you are Jewish, between the ages of 18-26 and have not been to Israel on a peer-group program since the age of 18.

If you have been to Israel only with your family or for work, you are still eligible in most cases. Even those who participated on peer educational trips prior to turning 18 years of age are welcome to apply. If you have any questions about your eligibility, contact Andrea Floersheimer at before you begin the application process.
