2022 ConnecTech Fellows
Meet the 2022 ConnecTech Fellows!

Adina Bechhofer
Adina is a 2nd year PhD student in EECS at MIT. Her work focuses on optimization and automated design of nano electronics. She grew up in a Charedi family in Israel and now identifies as Modern Orthodox. Adina loves cooking and hosting large Shabbat meals, as well as being involved in her local Jewish communities. She's currently serving on the board of MIT GradHillel and Harvard Hillel's Orthodox Minyan board. In addition to Jewish stuff, Adina also enjoys painting, reading, biking, being a scotch snob, and really trying (never successfully) to keep plants alive.
Avi Singer
Avi is a PhD student in Biology studying protein biochemistry and evolution. Outside of lab, Avi enjoys cooking, sports, and going to concerts.

Bernardo Aceituno
Bernardo is a PhD student in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering, also the Co-Founder of Stack AI, from Venezuela. He is working on projects related to combinatorial optimization, machine learning, and robotics. He enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and contemporary art.
Eli Mansbach
Eli Mansbach is a 3rd year graduate student in the Geophysics department at MIT studying paleomagnetism (how rocks record magnetic fields). He is a member of the Mars 2020 mission focusing on future return samples that will be brought back to Earth in the 2030s. In his spare time, he volunteers as an EMT on the MIT ambulance and he enjoys rock climbing.

Kayla Zlotnick
Kayla is a freshman at MIT studying Neuroscience and Computer Science. During her free time she likes swimming, reading, playing the ukulele, trying new foods, and going to the beach. She spent a gap year in Israel before coming to MIT, went back for MISTI GTL last IAP, and is excited to go back again and make some more memories!

Marilyn Meyers
Marilyn is studying Materials Science and Engineering as well as computer science and economics. She is originally from New Rochelle, NY and spent a gap year in Israel in Kibbutz Migdal Oz before coming to MIT. She enjoys baking, reading, dancing, swimming, and watching the Great British Baking Show. She is very excited to meet new people and spend the week in Israel.
Nina Gerzsberg
Originally from northern New Jersey, Nina's a junior at MIT majoring in electrical engineering and computer science and minoring in mechanical engineering. Outside of school, she likes going on long walks, rock climbing as a member of MIT’s rock climbing team, taking care of her plants, and reading.

Raquel Ganitsky
Raquel is a student at the master's in real estate development at MIT's Center for Real Estate. She's originally from Bogota, Colombia. Her background is in architecture, and her research and interests are in sustainable development. In her free time, Raquel enjoys exploring national parks, following Colombian soccer, learning new recipes, and discussing politics.
