2017 CONNECTECH FELLOWS
Meet the 2017 ConnecTech Fellows!

Meghan Cum ‘19
Meghan is studying chemistry. She enjoys being on the board of MIT’s Friends of Israel Club and playing for the MIT Women’s Rugby club team. She is from Western Massachusetts and likes to hike and do yoga. After going on MIT's birthright trip and NFTY EIE semester abroad in high school in Israel, she is inspired to, hopefully, one day make aliyah.

Margalit Glasgow ‘18
Margalit is studying Math and Computer science. She is originally from Newton, Massachusetts, and loves hiking, biking or any sort of outdoor adventure. She spent January 2017 in Israel at Kibbutz Ein Shemer teaching computer architecture to middle schoolers. Her summer 2017 plans include biking across the US and leading STEM workshops for high schoolers along the way.

Mark Goldman G
Mark is a Ph.D. student in Chemical Engineering. He spends his free time being a mentor for undergraduates and enjoys being part of the Jewish community at MIT. He is looking forward to reflecting on and learning about students' experiences at Technion.

Sam Grondahl G
Sam is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics. He grew up in Upstate New York. In his free time, Sam enjoys running, playing tennis, and golfing. He is excited to participate in ConnecTech and to add "ConnecTech Fellow" to his currently sparse CV.

Sam Wald G
Sam is a Ph.D. student in Aerospace Engineering. He is working on sending humans further into space. He grew up in Texas, where his family still comes together for the holidays. Sam enjoys yoga, hiking, and board games and looks forward to making new friends and learning about the Israeli Jewish experience.

Johan Weinberg G
Johan is a Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering. Growing up in Southern California, Johan came to MIT after graduating from the US Air Force Academy. He enjoys rowing, skiing, rock climbing and traveling. After he graduates from MIT, he hopes to become a pilot.
