2015 ConnecTech Fellows
Meet the 2015 ConnecTech Fellows!

Morris Alper '16
Morris is currently studying math and linguistics. Originally hailing from Palo Alto, California, Morris spent a year in Israel learning at Yeshivat Shaalvim before coming to MIT. In his spare time, he likes listening to music, bicycling, cooking, and watching short films.

Caroline Morganti '16
Caroline is a junior at MIT studying computer science. She is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where the winters (if rainier) are much more tolerable than in Boston. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, listening to music, reading about Israeli politics, and (on Shabbat) playing board games with her friends.

Allan Sadun '17
Allan was a physics major, fell in love with Shannon and Nyquist theory, and now studies some weird hybrid of physics, math, and electrical engineering. He's active on his hall in East Campus, doesn't eat very many foods, and likes making funny noises. His hobbies include square dancing, a cappella, fire spinning, thinking about student government, exploring/climbing, and playing with ropes.

Elizabeth Setren G
Elizabeth is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Economics. She is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and loves playing ukulele, running, and salsa dancing. Elizabeth enjoys being a part of Grad Hillel and MCM (MIT Conservative Minyan) and is looking forward to participating in ConnecTech!

Roman Stolyarov G
Roman is a Russian cowboy from Dallas, TX born just a couple years after his parents emigrated from the USSR. He did his undergrad at Southern Methodist University (a very Jewish school as you can tell) and is currently in the first year of his Ph.D. program at MIT in biomedical engineering. In his spare time he likes to rock climb, play chess, backpack the outdoors, and go skiing.

Anna Tarakanova G
Anna is a Ph.D. student in computational biophysics. Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Anna grew up in Boston. Favorite hobbies include travel and anything outdoors, particularly running, hiking and skiing.

Dalia Walzer '17
Dalia is a member of the Class of 2017 majoring in biology. Dalia spent the summer before MIT at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rechovot, and she is excited to return to Israel and visit another scientific institute! A New Jersey native, Dalia has yet to find a satisfactory bagel in Boston; however, she enjoys exploring the city's many excellent ice cream shops.
