Judaic Library

MIT Hillel's Judaic Library, located in the MIT Religious Activities Center, collects Judaic references and Jewish books to serve the needs of the MIT Hillel community.

MIT Hillel's Judaic Library has two primary collections:

1.     A collection of Jewish and Judaic reference books for study and reference within the Hillel Center.  Classical Biblical, Jewish, and rabbinic texts and modern and traditional commentaries on these texts for general study comprise the bulk of this collection.

2.     A lending library composed of a collection of intellectually stimulating books that seek to enliven the Jewish religious lives and Jewish educational development of students and affiliates of MIT.   The collection seeks to provide up-to-date and thoughtful reading selections of Jewish interest.

Here is the catalog of books we own.

Please return any borrowed materials promptly so that others can use them. This library is provided as a service to the MIT community. Library questions can be directed to the staff in the MIT Hillel office in the lower level of the building.
