3 cups chickpeas

1 shallot

1/4 cup tahini

zest and juice of one lemon

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. ground pepper

pinch of red peper flakes

1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/2 cup fresh parsley

3 tbsp. basil leaves

1 tsp. tarragon
